Current society, despite pandemics, the horror of war, natural disasters, instead of finding the stimulus to regenerate, seems to be increasingly headed towards the decline of consciousness. 

To passively undergo this bitter truth would mean condoning the ignorance of fools, that system
that does not allow learning from past mistakes. 

The present project aims to build a better man, starting from the boys, to whom a life model is entrusted to follow and emulate, inspired by chivalrous virtues and constitutional values. 

A study conducted jointly by professional figures belonging to the Order (professors, magistrates, priests, lawyers, psychologists) agreed that the best way to interact with new generations must be based on two assumptions: 1) information and, therefore, dialogue on concrete and not abstract topics and 2) reward. 

In particular, young people today are attracted to social media and "likes", which they manage to conquer in the virtual world of the web. To obtain such "likes" they would do anything, often exposing themselves to serious risks and judicial problems. 

The present project proposes to orient this new youthful need, often deviant, towards a correct system, where "likes" will not be virtual, but absolutely concrete and determined by good actions, which will be implemented in a school setting. 

An additional purpose of the present project is to inspire young people to assume a behavior of respect towards others, especially towards the gentle sex and the so-called weak groups. 

In 2023, in Italy, 54 women were killed, ten of them were under thirty. This bitter reality highlights that femicide is becoming a social phenomenon that is also taking root among young people. 

The percentage of minors who are authors of a murder in Italy in 2024 has almost tripled compared to 2023. This is what emerges from the report "Voluntary homicides consumed in Italy", realized by the crime analysis service of the
Criminalpol of the Police. The data from the law enforcement agencies indeed show that in 2024 the incidence of those committed by minors stands at 11% of the total homicides detected, compared to 4% of the previous year. Not only that, but the numbers also show that the percentage of minors killed has almost doubled. In 2024 it was 7%,
while in 2023 it was 4%. 

It is not in question, therefore, that only through "correct education to respect", imparted with a model that takes into account information, the needs of young people and reward, can be a valid remedy to stem deviant phenomena and build better boys. 

For these reasons, 4 steps have been articulated, as illustrated below: 

Step 1) Free distribution to the Institute adhering to the project of the book "XIII stories that can save lives", written by Avv. Luigi Suez, an expert in criminal law and minor law, with the collaboration of magistrates (Dott. Aldo Petrucci,
former Public Prosecutor of Taranto, Dott.ssa Simona Filoni, Public Prosecutor for Minors of Lecce, Dott.ssa Francesca Mariano, Judge for Preliminary Investigations at the Court of Lecce, Dott. Fabrizio Malagnino and Dott.ssa Maddalena Torelli, Judges at the Penal Court of Lecce), in which 13 stories, really happened, of local and national minor chronicles are narrated. The reading of the book and the reflection cues indicated at the end of each story propose to avoid that new generations make the same mistakes. The topic addressed is that of the idea of fun, which is born almost always in a genuine way, but which often, due to poorly managed conditioning, leads to tragic consequences. 

Step 2) Assignment of a cash prize, granted by the Chivalrous Order, of a symbolic sum of € 500.00 and the title of "Knight of the Future", to the student who at the end of the year will have had the most vote reports, according to the attached regulation. Students will be able to vote through this site, accessing the area dedicated to their school institution. Each student will be able to cast a maximum of 5 votes during the year. The 9 most voted students in succession will also be awarded the title of "benemerito knight of the Chivalrous Order of Our Lady of Sion" 

Step 3) Two meetings with the students, one for the presentation of the project, in the presence of professional figures who participated in the realization of the didactic book or other professionals of equal stature, who will address, with the method of participated discussion, the theme and the topics of the book. 

Step 4) End-of-year appointment, with theatrical performance of the text "The Army of God", written and directed by Dott.ssa Maria Francesca Mariano, Judge of the Court of Lecce, at the end of which the award ceremony of the ten most voted students will take place, with the assignment of the prize "The Knight of the Future".
