The Chivalric Order of Our Lady of Sion APS, in accordance with its social purposes of protecting the weak, promoting human dignity and disseminating chivalric and constitutional values, considered essential for an authentic process of improving society, presents the following project for re-education to punishment called: "The Code of the Redeemed - From guilt to responsibility" The project is based on the principles established by Article 27 of the Italian Constitution, according to which punishment must aim at the re-education of the convicted. It intends to offer prisoners a path of reflection, awareness and identity reconstruction, through cultural, narrative and theatrical tools capable of activating a profound and lasting change. Re-education is not intended as mere observance of the rules, but as rediscovery of the value of responsibility, honor, self-respect and respect for others, and the possibility of redemption. The project "The Code of the Redeemed" was born with the aim of offering prisoners a cultural, symbolic and emotional experience that stimulates an authentic reflection on the concept of responsibility, redemption, honor, respect for rules and reconstruction of the self. Through literature, theater and dialogue, the prisoner is accompanied on a path of awareness, recognizing their human dignity even beyond the error committed.
